So you are saying saban and sexton weren’t interested in a potential bidding war between Bama and lsu when he wanted to come back?

Well, he did. Skip Bertman, LSU’s AD at the time, confirmed it in an interview. Unfortunately, Miles was coming off an SEC West title and went 10-2 in 2006, and Bertman didn’t want to kick him to the curb.
Also, this was before Saban landed at Alabama. So I’m not sure why the gumps ave their panties in a twist about it.
In hindsight, Bertman screwed up, Alabama got the GOAT a few months later, and LSU had to settle for Miles’ bullshite.

Look on Al.com for an article called "New biography examines many sides of Nick Saban" . It took one google search and less than 5 minutes to find. Then go cry a river cuz ur obviously out of ur depth
