11-2 after we beat some arse in the bowl game

I'm hoping you get a team like Boise State. I'd really love to see them get the dog shite beat out of them...

On the other hand, I'd also love to see a speed team like Oregon face a power team like Bama.

Our schedule last year was tougher, and we still finished 8-5 with nearly a whole starting offense and defense of new starters.

You think we're going to get worse after returning nearly everybody, hiring a great DC, and being given an easier schedule? This just doesn't make sense.

You went 7-5 in the regular season which is what we are predicting. I think aTm has a pretty good team next year. I also think AU won a couple games last year that they probably should not have but were very fortunate in. Simply put, I see 6 teams on your schedule that I think are better than AU. If they upset 2 of them and don't lose any they are supposed to win, they go 8-4.

You said 6-6 in your previous post...

They lost a pretty good amount of players, including Ryan Tannehill, Cyrus Gray, and Jeff Fuller. Those could have very well been their best playmakers on offense. Per Rivals, they also lost 3 starters in the secondary. They also finished with a worse record than Auburn in a worse conference.

I agree with ya, but feel the FSU game could go either way. If our D plays as well as last season, and we get ANYTHING going on O....I think e cn win that one.

on paper, we should be better than A&M... and it's at home.

I like the staff changes, and I like this team's overall talent level... if some guys grow up this offseason -- namely Frazier and the OL -- we could be a suprise team next season.

Clemson and MSU early will tell the tale... CU lost players up front on both lines, but their skill position talent is top flight. Starkville will be tough, but we haven't lost there since 2000 (IIRC).

8-4 regular season -- losses to Clemson, Arkansas, LSU, and Bama.

The Arkansas thing is possible but not probable. The Michigan-Bama game is going to be a very one sided affair. Michigan is unprepared to play with a team as a talented and deep as Alabama.

No flame as I really don't know (I know it's not good, but don't know the extent) but what is Arky's record against Bama since BP showed up? (this seems like the most favorable era for Arky fans)

Saban's the one hurdle in the SEC-W that BP has yet to get over.

I don't think that'll change this coming season, but it's probably our best chance so far.

I think Arkansas will go 11-1. We'll steal one from either LSU or Bama since we get to play them at home this year with a much better OL, running game, and experience QB. We'll see.

For Bama I see only LSU beating us, if they even do. Arky might, but think about it this way, we'll continue to be the best run defense, so Knile Davis won't matter. Tyler Wilson can throw it to anybody, but our DBs should easily shut out Arky's WRs, maybe not as much as last season where they shut out the best WRs in CFB, but it'll still be pretty lockdown. I'm interested in seeing whether or not Wilson has the poise to remember what happened in BDS when we made him our bitch. Major respect for him to continue to get up, but you've gotta wonder if it's gonna be in the back of his mind.

Either way, we return enough on D to beat Arky. LSU is a toss up. We might lose a game we shouldn't, but I think Nick has learned him 2010 that you can't let a team sneak up on you like that, Bama will still have the motto Never Again because for every player on that team it should mean "Never Lose Again", if they think about it like that and play like they want it then we'll be set.

Maybe you should actually take a look at what Michigan loses too.

7-5, maybe 6-6 assuming we don't schedule a tough OOC game in our remaining open slots. I think we beat Ole Miss and get 1 or 2 wins out of the State, Mizzou and Florida matchups.

We put up 52 on em last year with almost the same team we had this year...I think bama wins by 21 in this game.
