LSU got Hoodwinked, bamboozled, led on a wild goose chase.
He was a disaster at Ole Miss and was only a defensive line coach at best. Les Miles didnt even make him defensive coordinator. Instead made this guy the DC.
This year is going to be a wash. They play a tough miami team, The sec west, and florida and georgia.

I doubt that O was their first option.It's getting more difficult for what are considered top programs to get quality coaches.There's good coaching money everywhere.
It's hard to lure quality coaches away from their nest on the ground.

Many good things have happened to the alabama crimson tide over the last few years but I gotta tell ya, the barrel scraping that brought us ed ogeron is a gift from the lord. His existence as lsu's headcoach is proof positive god loves alabama football above all others.
Here's a little coffee talk for ya.
In over 30 years of coaching, other than that ole miss abortion, Whiteboots was never once promoted beyond the position coach level. Not once.
USC doesn't count. He was asked to wear the headset and then politely shown the door. They sure as shite knew better.
Les miles himself knew this guy was so empty between the ears, that he wouldn't promote yawyaw, hence the gift of Dave aranda.
Anyway, this is the guy lsu has manning the train and when this shite show goes off the rails this season, it'll be delightful to watch and here's why.
This fanbase wanted the best coach in their less than stellar history fired and they replaced him with a known loser.
Lsu has it coming.

LSU is in a great position. If we win this year, that's great and we will score a great recruiting class.
If we lose, Alleva and O will be fired and Kiffin will be in Baton Rouge.

You can’t seriously think we’re in a great position. We are staring a 5 or 6 win season in the face. And there’s no guarantee that’s bad enough to get O and Alleva fired.
Alleva is a spineless cocksucker who does whatever FKing Idiot wants. Fking doesn’t care about the football team winning as long as they continue to rake in the money. He certainly doesn’t want to spend money on buyouts for O and Alleva if he doesn’t have to.
We are basically on our way to becoming Tennessee. Unless by some miracle we luck into a competent AD who’s capable of conducting an actual coaching search.
