Bama didn't have two losses in 2017. You know who did? Those other teams that didn't get selected.

Except my point is directed as well to all the posters that said even a 1 loss conference champ game runner up like TCU would still get in over a 1 loss UA team that did not even win their division.

You know who had 1 loss that year, won their division, lost in the conference CCG, but UA still got in over them. Wisconsin.

I love OSU poster because they are never wrong.

Do not deflect and please explain to me how the AP and Coaches poll determine who is in the playoffs. Answer this question before you deflect please.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Bama doesn't have one loss.

If Bama had one loss this year, you might have a point.

sc survives in Death Valley with a 1 point win now they are the second coming just like tools gold lsu after a 1 point win over bama when are we gonna learn to stop over reacting

Overreacting? Giving credit to a team for winning two top 10 games b2b and saying “they don’t suck” isn’t overreacting. It’s also not saying they are the second coming….it’s simply saying they don’t suck like everyone has said all season.

It isn't because I'm an Ohio State fan. Some of them are wrong plenty.

It isn't a deflection. It's a data point.

Does bama have a chance of getting in? remotely

Will they? no

Would they get dusted if they did? probably

I have made it clear UA will not be in this year in my opinion. But the committee has already shown bias with UA at 7th this week unless you think they deserve to be there.

I saw so many people around the country including media and coaches that did not feel UA should have made it in 2017. I guess you believe there was no bias when OSU made it in 2016 even though they lost to PSU who went on to win the B10 and still got jumped by OSU who did not deserve it.

The problem with the committee is they are human and naturally bias will kick in at times. Do I think there is enough to have UA slide in this year with 2 losses no.

I'd say 6-7 is probably about right.

That includes me. Objectively, 2017 is a great example of why Bama should have no chance in 2022.

Seems to me that it's been consistently shown that multiple losses is a huge obstacle to overcome

This sounds like the ramblings of a man who is utterly terrified of Bama playing his team in Atlanta where they have had their hearts ripped out for a decade by said team.

Even if you’re 100% correct - which you aren’t because this is all speculative and you aren’t on the CFP board - you still sound utterly terrified of playing the GOAT with a healthy team. I would be too.

TCU and USC don’t have strength of schedule if they lose to get in. And let’s be honest it’s all about money so they’d put OSU and Bama in if both those lose just due to sheer amount of fan support those teams have

There’s an original response. “You scared!”

what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.

I've made my views clear, and this is last time I'm going to post about it.

If TCU and USC lose BAMA is in. Now let's see how it plays out.

This reads like you’re scared to play Bama. Is that the case?

I'd be scared to play a team that's owned me since 2008 as well.
