It really is the older fans that fume the flames of hatred the most. As well as the sidewalk fans. Of course.

Been that way as long as this old guy can remember. And it's worse in the small towns, where fans have to interact with each other every day and there's not anything else to talk/brag about.

It's really quite ridiculous when you think about it. I mean, it's just sports. We can still be friends. Matter of fact, I wouldn't wish being an Ole Miss fan on my friends.

It's one of the thing I appreciate most about my Father-in-law. He's red and blue to the core. Buys season tickets for every OM program that offers them. Goes to or watches every OM game in every sport that he can get to and only cheers FOR the rebels. He absolutely could not care less what MSU or any other school does, good or bad. He congratulates me on State's success when he hears about it, and he means it
