They were good last year, but the 2 most talented ones were true freshmen 5 stars, which bodes well for 2020

You better hope they're better than last year

Linebacker will be better with the experience returning.

I have questions about DB which got carved up by Burrow and your NFL wide receivers. Specifically our nickel/dime and one safety spot

They don't have the best athletes in the league @ LB but they damn sure have the best coach (speaking of their D/C/LB'ers guy).

McClain is going to surprise everyone once he gets significant playing time. Guy is a missile. Love his play

What's exciting is how well this LB Corp compliment each other.

Britt - bruiser who makes Najee Harris make a business decision (slide)
Pappoe - Very fast, nimble, good at pass coverage kind of player
McClain - A little mix of Britt & Pappoe

Auburn also brought in its best freshman linebacker class in history this past cycle.

Wesley Stiner
Cam Riley
Desmond Tidsdale

Joe burrow and Jamie Newman are 1 year apart in age. So im assuming this year Jamie Newman will put up burrow-like numbers since he’s 22 like burrow was last year? You make it seem so easy

I dont expect anyone else to put up Burrow type numbers.

But I expect an older player to be more physically and mentally prepared than the younger players.
I expect Newman to have a lot of highlights, and I wouldn't be shocked to see freshmen and sophomores on the bad end of the highlight more often.

Steele is the DC and the real lb's specialist. And one of the absolute best.
