No, I don't beat women. The only way I'd think about hitting a woman is if she tried to kill me. JJ's just a thug, and he parades around like he's a Heisman winning Dual Threat QB, when he's not. I just wanna see Ndonkeykong Suh or Von Miller get a hold of him, or Upshaw could do it on January 9th

JJ is a thug for going to a bar and getting in a fight just like probably the majority of all guys across the country have done at some point in their life.

People are acting like he killed a bunch of children. The dude may or may not have gotten in a fight, and guess what, all signs point to the fact that the other guy started the fight.

As far as your comments, Suh is a thug, Miller had his shot last year, and Upshaw had his chance back in november.

It's sad how many people are racist or have some personal vendetta against Jefferson (I am a Lee supporter by the way). Get over it and come down from your ivory tower.

Why do you guys defend these player/coaches that do stupid things just because the play for your team? These guys don't care about you or if your defending them. Is Upshaw a thug? Sure he is. Is Saban an a$$? dang right he is, you can still support your program without looking dumb for taking up for these thugs

I got into a fight at Murphy's. An Acacia fig ran punched me in the back of the head, and I beat his arse in the parking lot.

Therefore, I am a thug.

I only defend them against stupid ramped up shite.

Did JJ get into a barfight? Probably.

Does that make him a thug? No.

Did the "victim" have it coming? No doubt.

that's what I'm saying... because a college male got in a fight at a bar he is a thug

I've heard upstanding citizens tell me stories of how they got into brawls in bars before, and I assure you they aren't thugs.

In 3 years are you really going to care if he is a thug? Probally not, you may have a new thug to worry about by then

Why is it relevant to now, what I care about in 3 years?

I won't care about how much of a bitch my daughter's kindergarten teacher is, three years from now. . .but it means something today.

Too lazy to read 7 pages but in case it hasn't been covered...there is a difference in cameras...i.e. cameras in a dark environment only shoot black and white due to low light...I am no camera expert but I have seen a video from a camera that due to the low light showed a shirt to be a light almost white color when I saw the person wearing a black shirt. Not saying JJ did or didn't, just my observations. FWIW the different shirts on different cameras is not a good argument.

But you offer your testimony.
Like BRPD doesn't have frickin film experts.
The reason the footage was inconclusive is it didn't support the charge.
Don't you think as foolish as BRPD has looked through this, if they had any damning evidence there wouldn't have been a GJ hearing?
They even confiscated all the dude's shoes for DNA testing, lol

BRPD crawfished meekly as possible out of this fiasco.

meaning I dont know why it does it but i know for a fact the camera showed the opposite of what the shirt was in my instance...majority of people on here assume too much. do you really think everything was revealed to the public? and as far as lumping anything on the police, pretty sure warrants were issued so obviously foolish judges thought there was something worth looking at. what does brpd have to gain putting jj in jail without cause, just for kicks?

I can prolly give a few thousand instances where black attire is so black at night, it makes you practically invisible, and allows burglars and Navy Seals camoflauge from security cameras.

Heck no. Only what they want public to hear. Do you really think they would've had a presser for evidence that's detrimental to their case? Did you hear BRPD releasing Shady's employees statements that didn't support the charges?
quote:

I can get blindly suckerpunched in a brawl and have a warrant issued on you just by my statement and you being at the scene. You were with the bunch involved with my cauliflower ear. Do I care if you threw the punch? Somebody is going down for it.

LOL at the bold.

Carrying out a bluff for a statement. The JJs called BRPD's hand.
In the above scenario, police ask you to finger the puncher, or they'll have no choice but to continue pursuit of complaint.
I'm not really saying JJ kicked or didn't, just that warrants aren't condemnation of guilt in the cat and mouse legal game.

Was hoping someone caught it.
imo people are jumping to conclusions based on emotion of whether they like him or not. Grand jury must have seen something to keep this going. I think it will quietly fade away.

lets see if i'm understanding correctly.

the starting quarterback, for the local top ranked d1 football team, had felony charges drastically reduced to misdemeanor, by the local da. that about right?

Let's clear something up about JJ/Bar fights/ Kicking in the head This is for all of you that follow/watch ESPN and rely on them for your news feeds. Apparently there are at least 3 ignorant threads based on an even more ignorant news article that Jefferson feels no remorse over a bar fight incident. Here is what happened from someone who followed events closely/watched LOCAL news, and when half of you were fully wrapped in the season and did not know what was going on: Jefferson was guilty of breaking a team curfew. Frick tradition, what everyone else before him had done. The punishment for that was to run laps. Jefferson was NOT GUILTY of kicking anyone. Video showed him, while in the club, wearing a white shirt. Video showed the 'kicker' wearing a black shirt. Jefferson had all his shoes confiscated and was exonerated. BPS dropped the case because they had the wrong person. Jefferson missed 5 games because he and his team mates refused to give the name of the player who kicked. If anything he is guilty of that. Stop putting stock in 'articles' with an agenda, and don't have the facts

If JJ played for Bama, the corn dogs would be calling for his head, calling him a thug, saying there is a cover-up, etc.......

Hypocrites.

A grand jury is nothing more than a rubber stamp for the DA. DA decides who gets prosecuted.

JJ as a "thug" meets the narrative for :

1. various LSU-haters,
2. sanctimonious moralists,
3. ignorant finger-wagger-types,
4. closet racists etc.

I have yet to meet an INTELLECTUALY HONEST person yet who is familier with the FACTS of the case who thinks there is anything to this more than a rather pedestrian college bar scuffle with wildly different accounts that might rise to the level of a misdemeanor at the very worst.

I have heard dozens who fit into one or more of the categories above make demonstrably false/ignorant statements.

What's new about that? People with agendas run around half cocked spouting inane theories every day. Some of them set up shop on the SEC Rant. They aren't here in a search for The Truth. They are here to settle scores.

frick em.
Half the facts, a sacntimonious speech full of moral preening, and $2.75 will still only get you a cup of coffee.
