They are up there with the Sooners in cheating…
Auburn bought Cam, bought their victory over the Hogs in 2020. (I count that as a Hog win btw) the 2020 Auburn game ranks up there with the 2009 Florida game as in your face

Auburn is similar historically in FB to Arkansas but their cheating gives them a slight nod. Arkansas was ahead of Auburn in the 2009 ESPN Football historical prestige rankings…then they bought Cam. They throw used toilet paper on trees to celebrate, …I run into the Auburn fans when I’m chilling on the Gulf and man it’s like they are some sort of human hybrid
Edit… They also have 10 or so mascots.

Blue and ANYTHING orange is ugly. Also from a distance their helmet logo looks like an Anheuser Busch add. Pick a fricking mascot. Go with War Eagle. We have too many tigers. We have three. Two is the limit.

Nah I got my bachelor's in 4 years and had another redshirt season in the fall so I stuck around another quarter.

Honestly? I don’t have a ton of resentment towards Auburn. I think our biggest “on-field” rival has been LSU until recently. That was always the big game I looked forward to the most.

There are some very nice parts of the state: Huntsville,parts of Birmingham and Mobile,Orange Beach,Lake Martin,etc

The hatred is 5 generations deep in my family. I am the 4th generation.
Reasons are too many to post but the fact that Alabama wins and shuts up about it and Auburn can’t let it go ranks high. I heard “Punt Bama Punt” for decades, even though we beat then 9 straight after that, and every time they have one of those voodoo wins we come back and annihilate them the next.
