Well that was true and cost us a title against clemson with Jalen. He got much better later obviously, but shite. Anyone could see against Aubarn he was done mentally.

I remember that thread. That is the year I joined and I joined to follow the coaching search at Bama. I was in Shreveport study for exams with a friend. Stayed with he and his wife for about 6 weeks.

It's hilarious how so many LSU fans around that time really thought that LSU was the premiere program in the SEC going forward (for at least the next 30 years or so). And even more funny was how the asterisk 2007 NC made them really buy into this idea.
My God, I am so grateful I am not an LSU fan. For the ones who take this stuff so seriously, how miserable and embarrassed they must be right now.
Anyways, they had no idea of the misery they were about to endure at the terrible hands of Nick Saban and Alabama. I'm so sorry guys.

If it was from before Saban was actually hired, you'd see a bunch of Bama fans talking about Shula the same way LSU fans were talking about Orgeron earlier this season.
