You can still wear them...just gotta take fifteen yard penalty at the beginning of each half.

Dont think we can do that against the #1 team in the country, we will be very fortunate to win let alone take penalties.

Look at TN's coach; he's done more stupid things.

Why would you want to wear your home uniforms?

Have you seen them???

Yep and I love them. Nothing like the good ole Orange and White. I've told everyone that I want to be buried in that attire.

Why would your AD not allow UT to wear our home uniforms this weekend? I just dont understand why he would have a problem with it.

Honestly if the decision upset Tenn fans, then I think it was a solid decision. The last two years Tenn has been complaining after the loss. This year they're even complaining before it. I think that adds to the rivalry. We needed more fuel on the fire.

At least this decision was based on the normal uniform rules and hasn't been a tradition in 40 years. The suits made up a bogus safety issue to cancel the Tiger Walk that's an actual ongoing tradition.

I highly doubt CNS even cares about tradition and was probably watching game film when asked by some bammer Athletic dept official. CNS probably gave it little thought before declining, because it doesnt help bama win.

The guy UA employee who asked was probably too scared to ask again. CZAR saban tolerates little talkback.

I for one did not want the Vols to wear orange in Bryant Denny. You are the visiting team and should wear visitor colors. Have the Vols ever wore orange in BD Stadium?

The Vols were already hyping the orange jerseys by posting the SI cover picture where both teams wore their home jersey's in the 60's. I believe that was in Knoxville. Why would Bama give the Vols something to pump their team up?

Besides, as all our rival fans keep telling us; Quit living in the past.

Tennessee fans are yelling about it being a tradition. That was years and year ago.

Honestly no team in the SEC would say yes.

The conversation would go something like:

Kiffin would like to...

No.

UT has never worn orange in BDS. The game was always in the HAM when it was our away year.

'67 game at Legion Field. Last time the road team wore its home jersey was Alabama in 1970.
