It's never gonna stop, because it's not LSU bitching around these parts. On the first page of the Tiger Rant, there are a total of 7 pages of schedule talk dating back to yesterday. This thread isn't even 6 hours old and it's 26 pages. Get off our nuts, SECR. We're tired of hearing you bitch about our schedule.

that's because you have everyone agreeing with you on TR

Yes it will. Our conference gets more national attention than any other. I might be an LSU fan but I also don't want any unfair advantage. I love our schedule including the Florida game. Who doesn't want more great games to watch on Saturdays? I'm just perplexed by the inability of the SEC to figure out a solution to the scheduling issue.

Did anyone ever list which schools were going to be the best over the next 10 yrs so that we could make the schedules even?

No response?

You thought I was on here attention whoring, didn't you? Now you feel kind of foolish. I was making the perfect argument to shut up the LSU bitching, but you couldn't see it, could you?
Went right over my freakin head Kaiser. I admit it!

Some of your aTm brethren are pure attention whooores and seek nothing more than acceptance and validation for your one season of accomplishments in the conference.

Care on arguing against the LSU schedule titty babies.

So why in the hell did the SEC office decide to move Georgia, when they are pretty damn good mind you, off Bama's 2013 schedule?

Well the SEC added two new teams. UGA got replaced by Mizzo last year. In 2013 UK was/is scheduled to rotate on Bama's schedule. Just like UGA vs LSU was scheduled to rotate to play each other this year.

Could the SEC office scheduled UGA vs Bama? Possibly but it must have screwed up the # of home games for each team and/or for other teams in the league.

I'm sure there is a valid reason other than the wild eyed, tin foil hat wearing, the SEC hates LSU conspiracy theorist views that Bama/REC handpicked the schedule to protect Bama.

Maybe it was the UGA admins doings to keep Bama off their schedule as they'd rather have an easier game vs LSU than they would vs Bama. But more than likely it had to do with home games for teams.

The problem is what you are asking for is a moving target, and wholly subjective.

If we did this:

Bad-Asses:
Alabama
LSU
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
USCe

Shitty Historically/Not top 4 Programs:
A&M
Arkansas
Ole Miss
MSU
UK
Vandy
Missouri

A&M and Ole Miss have a really good chance at becoming better programs and getting better recruits.

At the same time, somebody in the Big 6 is gonna suffer and recruiting will dry up. Somebody has to win/lose. If it's Bama and LSU, Florida, Georgia and the rest won't be as relevant. Recruiting changes, etc.

Just because a program is good now, doesn't mean shite in 5 years. So, we try to schedule "easy" and "hard" opponents or to somehow make it balanced, but that requires an evaluation of each program by the schedule makers. Then we have to ask the basis of their conclusions.

Then, Auburn. They won the BCSCG and proceeded to suck arse the next year. So, that means we have to evaluate every schedule every year, and we STILL won't get it right and somebody will bitch.

In other words, it cannot be done. Too many unknowns and variables.

So we are getting a unfair advantage in 2012 and 2013 and you are getting a unfair advantage in 2014 and 2015 and this unfair is rotating throughout the other teams as well while we all get to play each other. Sounds pretty fair to me in the long run.
