I've gone on record in another thread saying I thought the 2012 team was not championship material. We played like garbage against terrible teams like Auburn, Arkansas, and Towson.
Yes, I just grouped Auburn together with Towson.

Hell A&M beat them and they were garbage.
Well, why didn't LSU beat Bama and Florida?

Because LSU was garbage in 2012. I said it. Its true. Championship teams don't play like arse on the road. They just don't.

Since nobody will answer me, I'm just going to assume that no, Saban did not complain and whine like Les does about playing UF while he was at LSU.

They have a fair argument when you look at last year and this year. Outside of that it all falls apart. LSU will probably play Mizzou next year or Kentucky or Vandy. Bama will most likely get Georgia. UT could turn things around and be good next year with the way they are recruiting.

So you are bitching about a schedule(2012 bridge) that doesn't really matter and one that yet to be played?

He got his arse beat down by UF while at LSU. He didnt start whining about things till he got to bama though.

But it's all about the here and now! That's how you look at things when your football program has only been playing football for about a decade and a half.

He should have. He didn't exactly have the best record against the Zooker.

Well I'm glad he figured out the Florida curse at Alabama and is 3-1 against them with three blowout victories.

Look, I get that you think Alabama "squeeked" by a few teams like any national champion typically has to do. But for sake of fairness, why don't we talk about LSU "squeeking" by Auburn, or Towson, or USCe, or aTm, or Ole Miss, or Arkansas? Do we really want to get in a comparison of which team needed more luck to win games?

You're upset he didn't go 3-0 against him?

Despite the fact that LSU wasn't championship material, I would still like to see a more equitable distribution of difficult opponents.
If you don't, then you are in favor of an unequal playing field, and that basically make you dumb.
This is a process-based argument, not an outcome-based argument. Its like saying it is ok that an election wasn't free and fair because the candidate who won would have won anyways. OK but wouldn't you still rather he win in a fair contest? I say yes. If you say no, then move to fricking Italy or Venezuela or something.

Your welcome, so quit bitching. Schedules rotate, teams get better and worse. In the long run its fair and all works out.

Who gets the advantages changes, but someone always will when you don't have to play the same times. LSU getting the recent shaft is why they are talking about it.
