Florida was far from overrated. They had a very tough defense last year and played very physical. The games they won weren't just a fluke

It all washed out in the end because Bama beat the East champ who beat Florida, so Florida was not that good, they just beat two lesser teams in the West, right? Is that what you're saying?

Georgia? They finished behind both Florida and Tennessee. LSU and Arkie both played Tennessee, a tougher opponent than Georgia that year

but you get to take out your permanent and we don't.

Agreed. But you are saying in your schedule swap analogy that Florida would be an automatic loss for Alabama, which certainly is not true.

No one is saying that. Perhaps yall drop one to USC instead. Most likely you arent relatively fully healthy going into the LSU game and that miricle last minute never comes to fruition.

You had a season of rest prior to LSU. Couldnt get it up for back to backs. Then coast to Atlanta where you squeaked one out because of UGAs poor management.

No I'm say that LSU, A&M and Alabama were all comparable teams over the course of the regular season and the team that got the benefit of going to the SECCG did so because of their weak SEC East opponents.

UF would have been the best D Bama faced all year and that is a fact.

So, that assumes that Florida would have also beat Alabama, and assumes that A&M and LSU would have beat Georgia in the SECCG, right?

Honest question because I don't know the answer, but did Saban complain and whine like Miles does about playing UF when he was at LSU?

Dude do you remember the UGA/UF game? Do you remember that fluke play where the UF TE was inside the 5 - going in for the tying score - then decided to leap in the air and drops the football?

UF should have won that game, frankly. Not that I am a fricking Florida fan or anything, but I just think your comment was kinda dumb considering the way in which Georgia beat them.

What from bamas season indicates to you that you would come out with less than 2 losses vs a stretch of UF, USC, TAMU LSU?

I can't tell you what would happen in a game that was never played. I can tell you that Alabama played #8 Michigan, #13 MSU, #5 LSU, #15 aTm, #3 UGA, and #1 ND and went 5-1 against those teams with a combined score of 198-109.

and a the shitty UT team that yall bitch about bama playing almost beat LSU and BAma because of flukes, recently, but that doesn't really matter because that wasn't the outcome.

if it wasn't for a fumble last year, you wouldn't have beat Auburn, but again that wasn't the outcome

What if Alabama had been forced to play the Washington Redskins instead of Mizzou? How would things have played out then?

LSU fans have a fair point about the scheduling, but the topic always dissolves into a confusing gumbo of hypotheticals.

Probably not. However, given that Florida had the best defense Alabama would have faced all year, and given the fact that they beat LSU and lost to Georgia on a fluke (both teams took Bama to the wire), I'm not gonna sit here and tell you there is no way they wouldn't have.

It is very possible that Florida could have beaten Alabama. Why not? They were beatable.

Hell A&M beat them and they were garbage.

So it is a 100% fact that LSU beats UT and Mizzou and Alabama loses to either USCe or Florida. Hmmm ok.

The fact you are trying to use State in your argument is telling.

Regular season the end of reg season top ten SEC teams (only back to back games vs elite SEC teams)

Bama 1-1 with a -1 point differential.
