Fwiw, I agree with Petrino but saying that AFTER you lost the game makes it APPEAR a bit whiny. You have to admit at least that.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but as far as a guilt factor all you have to do is turn on a State game to see a flagrant disregard for the rules against artificial noise makers. Every game all game.

State fans, look at it this way. If you keep the damn cowbells then every game that you win at home will have an * (sound familiar?).
If you think you can win without them then dont use them. You can still ring that damn bell the whole time you are tailgating, walking in, walking out, etc.

admitt that your fan base and stadium are so small that you can't compete with the bigger schools
In other words, its like a handicap. The SEC allows it so that MSU stays somewhat competitive
