Any game between Les and Coach O should be called the "I.Q. Bowl".

They would definitely set the record for the most halfback draws in a single game.

The first one to complete a forward pass or a sentence wins?

There could be worse fits than OM and Les, but not many.

Les runs a pro-style, grind-it-out and depend on superior defensive talent to win games.

OM has a dynamic QB and a boatload of 5* receivers.

Isn't the grass at OM synthetic? Both on and off the field

And maybe he just wants to go to an SEC school that beats BAMA on the regular.

If you consider 5 wins since 1980 regular, then aight baw.

Les has reached out to Ole Miss money folks (Bjork? Archie? Vitter?)

Les would be the biggest 'splash' hire Ole Miss could probably get, realistically. But publicity aside, its a terrible fit. Look how bad is offense was at LSU at times - Ole Miss's talent would be 3rd string for LSU.

You need some innovation on offense. Ole Miss needs to not worry about headlines, and get someone who can rejuvenate the program from the inside.

He is just using ole miss to generate interest for his name in the market. He knows this will create media buzz.

Who is the reporter that OM fans swear is a childhood friend of Mullen?
He's a national guy and plenty of rebels think he is Mullen's mouthpiece in the media. It's high entertainment to watch the Oxford spin machine

All Les had to do to keep his job at LSU was fire his buddy Cam Cameron and hire a young oc. That's it.

Do you guys really want a Les Miles recruiting in the sec west? For LSU fans, the teams LSU struggled with are not the spread teams anyway. It's teams that can run the freaking ball.

All your butt holes would pucker up in a close game against Miles. All it would take is some stupid truck play and you've now lost to Ole Miss.

Don't understand why people refuse to accept that Miles started going senile 4 years ago.

Oh you mean when LSU had a 1k yard rusher and two 1k yard receivers? Still putting players in the first round? Remind me what non senile sec coach has done that?

And it took 4 NFL draft picks to field that offense. Still lost 3 games. Haven't had a decent offense since. Failed to win anything of significance with a once in a generation type talent at RB. Unless you consider the Texas Bowl significant.

Trick play? It would take a half dozen or more. You forgot about the Rebs defense. Ole Miss was 13th in the conference and 111th nationally in total defense last year. But, yeah, Miles would have that Ole Miss D up to par, NCAA sanctions or not.

He'll just take it at a ridiculous salary south of 100k as an cost savings incentive to hire him, and LSU will be on the hook for the remainder.

can't do that. Contract doesn't work that way. He basically has to be paid a reasonable salary.
