I'm rooting for the Coots, but there is no way they beat lsu.

It cracks me up they were firing Jimbo and trolling the heck out of him for every lose. Asked for him to be fired from year one. Made fun of his buyout. And now they are in the same position. Every other coach has to be fired if they don’t win, but for Kelly, he gets 10 years with no smoke bc JH did it at Michigan.

Jimbo was at A&M for 6 years and never won 10 games, also never appeared in the SECCG.
BK has never won less than 10 games at LSU over 2 seasons and has an SECCG appearance.

2023: #6
2024: #7
2025: Currently #3
I don't see why you think 2024 will be his most talented team.

But but I thought the expectations are different at LSU? Then I’m with you. They need to take this thread down bc as you said, BK’s actually successful.

Because if you have a failure season this year, you will lose some of those guys to the portal.

The expectations are different, but again, BK is only in his third season.
Jimbo was at A&M for double that amount of time and never even accomplished what BK has in 2.

Recruiting high school, you are assuming that all those kids turn out, no bust, no under acheivers. How many left from the prior class etc.

This is a lot of cope for the fact that BK has a better win percentage at LSU than Kiffin has at Ole Miss.
Kiffin is one of the greatest Ole Miss coaches ever because he won 10 games twice, BK has won 10 games twice in 2 seasons and you claim he's mediocre.

Regular season 10 wins, and a 11 win with a bowl season. BK has yet to do that.
BK is a 9 win machine, nothing wrong with that. He may, it will be hard, do that again this year.
Pay him his $1 million bonus for going to the ReliaQuest bowl.

If we lose, the meltdowns will be epic. Brian will be sitting on lava, but he's got an asbestos buyout that the heat will take years to eat through no matter what we think.

The fact that you have to compare winning percentages between an LSU coach and an Ole Miss coach at all says quite a bit about the LSU coach.
