Let's say he has similar stats to this year going forward. More or less. Now is he a 4 year starter in the eyes of non-Bama fans on the rant? I say this because he doesn't really have that NFL size or "type" so to speak, even if he ended up being the best passer in the nation in on of those years.

Would he be drafted as a QB or an athlete, possibly RB? It would be a nice luxury to have a QB such as Hurts for 4 years.

You don't think he could be similar to Dak Prescott?

If he develops into the best passer in the nation he'll be a very high NFL pick as a QB. He absolutely has the size and arm strength that NFL teams would like.

Are you kidding? Jalen Hurts doesnt look or play like an NFL QB. I could be proven wrong since he is just a Frosh but right now he is just a good QB in a tremendous system.

To DBU's point, neither did Dak when he was a true freshman.

I view him as someone in the Tajh Boyd mold, although he has a long way to go until he's on that level...

Boyd might be a spot on comparison. If he has a similar college career numbers wise to Tajh id be thrilled.

Depends on what his passing looks like 3 years from now.

He's dynamic, and has shown poise rare for a freshman.

A lot falls to the wayside if he has the arm talent...

Both black, other than that not too similar. Boyd was much more of a dropback passer. Not nearly the runner that Hurts is. I highly doubt Hurts will ever play in a system where he throws it 35-40 times a game.

He's listed as 6'2---209 , so he's prob 5'10 ---195 .. gonna need to grow but Russell Wilson proved if your accurate you can play .

All schools fudge measurements a tad, but you're an IDIOT if you think any school fudges up to 4 inches.

BAMA is usually pretty accurate but will fudge a lil , I may have exaggerated a tad but he seems small on the field not towering . Ryan mallet was what in college like 6'5 and he looked it , does hurts look just three inches shorter ?

I've never seen Hurts stand next to Ryan Mallett. Have you?

They actually listed him smaller in college than what he measured at the Combine(6-7).
