this may be controversial but:

JJ is a marginal running QB.

Shepard would be much better in this role and is tons faster. He still has the threat of the pass as he was a 5* QB coming out of Tx in HS.

I would prefer J. Lee is the QB. JJ can throw about the same as Lee and is much more dangerous to prepare for with his running. LSU started using him like Cam at the end of last year and he was dangerous. Jefferson has off days passing but so does everyone else. There was a reason Jefferson was the starter before "arrest". LSU hasn't needed Lee to do much. Hopefully AU will stack the box and make Lee throw it 30 times. Its easier to stop the run with Lee as QB (barring he's not lighting it up).

JJ and it isn't even close. JL is one of the better qb's in the entire SEC, he moves the ball, plays smart, etc. JJ has less pocket presence than a middle school QB, he leaves the pocket too easily, he has terrible mechanics, basically he blows.

True...but if you play J. Lee we will shut down your RB's (see Lattimore...see UA last two years...see LSU last year) and you will have to pass. Just sayin - Jefferson is better.

2010 Stats vs AU
Rushing Leaders
LSU CAR YDS AVG TD LG
Jefferson 16 74 4.6 1 16
Ridley 12 37 3.1 0 9

Is the offense different than last year or are they executing it better? Did Jefferson execute it against Bama the alst 2 years? I say he did and he offers a different demension. Look neither will set your hair on fire, but jefferson can move better with the ball and certainly gives you options with the option and having 3 other former QBs in the game with him at the same time gives you extra options in Shep, Ware and RR.

I go with Jefferson for 3/4ths of that game unless things go bad for him.

If you had to play LSU tommorow, which QB would rather face? I am asking which one do you think your team would have an easier time beating? Also, can you tell me why you would rather face said QB.

Hell TT, read the first few comments. They weren't scared of either of our QBs. Its becoming a cliche to think LSU has a weak offense.

just cause a few idiots think that doesn't mean "all" of us in this thread do.Tbh i thought Lee was by far the better option, but with the play of jefferson the last two weeks,i admit i was dead wrong...

neither one scare me...LSU's offense doesn't scare me...only their defense scares me.

We don't have to scare you, just score on you...AND WE DO...

shep juas hasn't really shown anything. he's a really bad receiver. he's a total gimmick player and i don't know if he can pass
