I agree with OP. I stated yesterday that Woody is to clean for all this Riley smoke and made reference to Woody’s comment “everybody will love the hire” I then started it’s a Bigger hire than Riley and got downvotes galore. My hunch is Sean Peyton/Urban Meyer type hire.

I’ve had the same feeling that Riley is too obvious,,,,not Woodward’s style. Call me crazy but the quote Woody said about everyone would be pleased screams maybe Sean Payton is bailing on New Orleans or something of that nature

If they're going to fire him for off the field issues then they'll try to do it after a win or during the week so it doesn't give the appearance of being fired for losing

I’m game for Hugh, he’d be the best Coach we’ve had since Saban, the difference between Hugh and 80% of the other coaches is A) he got caught, B) he’s owned his mistakes and took full blame, C) he’s paid his debt/Liberty. He gave Bama fits with OM roster, love to see him in BR

I’m not hating on him, Arky was much improved. I’ll support who’s the hire is. Just was optimistic about Freeman but I believe that ship has sailed.

According to AL.com, an early candidate of interest to replace Pelini is current Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom, whom Orgeron is reportedly a big fan of.

Never commented on coaching ability, just seemed like a lack of enthusiasm which most would think contradicts one of his strong points,,, recruiting. But if I’m being honest I didn’t like the Coach O hire at the time either. Look how that turned out

Rest assured, and I couldn’t care less. Arky has their coach, who it is is pure speculation but their AD Hunter whosever you say it is enjoying the trolling at this point. No way he’s as calm as he’s been this week without having his guy locked in. My money is on Kiffin but we will all know in a couple days. Geaux Tigers
