Leavitt’s throwing motion

Before the game yesterday, I watched a cut up of Leavitt’s All-22 tape against Clemson.
One thing stood out: when Leavitt is in rhythm with his feet set, he has a pretty fluid throwing motion. Completed almost all of those passes. BUT when he isn’t confident, he pats the ball an extra time before throwing. He did that on the INT and almost every pass that was behind his receivers.
Guess what he did on the game ending INT last night that gave Kam Franklin a chance to jump in the passing lane?

He is a much better QB than I thought, TBH.

If he can learn to throw we will be a lot more dangerous. He’s not even remotely close to as good as Chambliss

He is currently tied for the most interceptions in college football. He is on pace to throw 20 interceptions in the regular season.

He's played on the road in 2 SEC environments, and struggled in both.
LSU @Auburn and LSU @ Tennessee will be interesting to watch.

Most quarterbacks aren't. As much as we like to throw shade on the QB of our opponents, it is hard to not acknowledge that guy is very good.

He’s elite, easily top 3 QB this year. I would say the best, personally
