Joey Freshwater will fall in love with Oxford once the sorority girls are back on campus.

So, why did Kiffin turn down Arkansas to take the Ole Miss job to begin with?

Obviously because he liked Oxford. While I hate Ole Miss (only because you are in-state rival) it’s a true college town. Ignore that clown, he’s just trying to see what sells.

Kiffin knows he just needs to win a few games at Ole Miss

Good luck with that in the SEC west

I mean if a national championship coach can't win there then how is Kiffin going to do it?

It sounds like you are just scared of Leach.

No, it sounds like he’s repeating a rumor. Same as you’ve done in the past.

And anyone that played Kentucky in the late 90s certainly wouldn’t be scared of the pirate.

more desirable living locations than their previous locations (for most people IMO; many others may very well like the deep south, small/college town, heat, humidity, bugs, and general nothing to do MS vibe in either area).

Tuscaloosa is 90 miles from Starkville.

Lots of us didn't want him to begin with. I'm not sure if he was ever offered the job.

I definitely can see Kiffin hating Oxford. I mean to go from Boca Raton to Oxford? I'm not even a big fan of South Florida and even I would say that's a huge step down.

If Kiffin had been smart (which when has Kiffin ever been smart?) I feel like he should've stayed at FAU. He was really starting to build something down there. He could've had a few more successful years and waited for the Miami job to open up (Diaz isn't going to work out there). Miami would've been a much better cultural fit for Kiffin.

I remember coach O warned Kiffin about taking the Mississippi job.

You don't get it! He is a one dimensional on offense! Once you figured it out it's easy to beat from there on. That is why many other top schools are shying away from him.
