Dareus' trip to South Beach cost less than $100. Man, I need to meet his travel Agent!
Is reading comprehension not your strong suit?

Good to know. The repeat is all but a guarantee with this information.
The funny thing is, I think you actually believe that.

I don't buy it. Saban mad an arse of himself with his agent rant for <&100???
Come on Bama fans. We all defend our own but surely you see the bullshite in this. I'm not saying Bama is involved in any cover up. Dareus and his handlers have more to lose. Start there.

Yeah sure, when called out use the "joke" card...

People seem to be missing the point. No one is saying he went to Miami on a tab of $100. They are saying that he recieved "gifts" of that much. He is said to have paid for the rest. Regardless, the NCAA will allow players to retain eligibility, even after recieving "gifts" of up to $500. That is, as long as everything else checks out.

I understand what you guys are saying here but as its been said before I don't think the NCAA would have already suspended him or that Saban would have raised hell over $100 or so.

Well I don't buy the claim he paid for anything more than a coke at the airport. Would you have? Seems to me if he cared about the situation at all he wouldn't have gone.

It's always a teaching point for Saban. Next time it might not be $100. Regardless, this was a the second agent related "incident". I would have been pissed too.

Yeah, good points. I just have my questions about whether or not everything was paid for. I just don't see the point in a kid going to an agent party on his own dollar when he isn't going pro for another year.

The point may be that he honestly had no idea that agents would be present. He's known Marvin Austin since 2007, when Marcell was being recruiting by UNC, and he was his host on his official.

Really? You really don't think Saban would flip out over anything that could remotely negatively impact his team? Because I get the feeling he could go off like a madman if somebody asked him if there was a depth chart...

You try to stick up for your fellow imbreeders I see. Kudos to you!
But Cowfricker? I honestly haven't seen a cow in 6-7 years. Now if we're talking about your mother, I guess you could consider her a cow.

Yep. Wait until fall camps starts next week. The first reporter to say "depth chart" will get a tongue lashing.

Did Saban get really mad over the fishing trip last year? I honestly don't know, but you have a good point about Saban getting pissed for less.

another nice incident of BAMA lore......"Its okay..just make a donation to a charity". And we wonder why these kids never grow up and if they dont make the NFL they are a burden on society...I guess they get it from Nicky "the poor kids"
