Outside of playing Tulane in ‘07 and home and home until 1993, LSU played at Rice in 1983. We had an annual series with Rice back in the day and would play at their place every 2 or 3 years, presumably for a recruiting presence in Houston.

Manziel's Heisman year we played at SMU and at Louisiana Tech.

Slight spinoff; but not a huge fan of the neutral site games. Yes, I get it - it is a money pull. However, the appeal of a college game played on campus should really be what it is all about. Wish we would get away from neutral site games until bowl season or in certain scenarios of in-state rivalries that justify a bigger setting.

@ TCU 1980. They were SWC, not sure if that was considered a P5 type conference at the time or not.
1976 Auburn played @ Arizona who was in the WAC, and @ Memphis
That's the most recent ones unless you count playing in Starkville every other year.

Then you should remember that game and that South Carolina of all teams has zero right to make that joke.

I think A&M played that game against Louisiana Tech at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, not on their campus in Ruston. So I don't know if I would count that one as a non P5 field.
They did play SMU at their home field at Ford Stadium.

I saw Bama play at Memphis in '91, I don't recall them playing any other non-P5 on the road since them

South Carolina won. What, did TN get "screwed by the refs?" The old "lawyer f-cked me" defense.

Boone is 100000000000000000 times a better trip than Greenville if we needed to pick between the 2.

Yes barely. Few others struggled against that team.
