Well obviously by itself Miss St doesn't scare Bama, but sandwich them in between two top-10 SEC teams, with 1 or 2 of them on the road, and they become a pain in the arse pretty quick.

How many 1st rounders did their defense have last year again?

I’d rather....then finish it off with

11/9 - vs #4 LSU
11/16 - @ Mississippi St
11/23 - vs Western Carolina
11/30 - @ #7 Auburn
12/5 - vs #3 Georgia

I’ve got good news for you

That’s incredibly dumb. And a bit emotional and dramatic, which kind of illustrates my point. Now, get SOOO mad.

It's because the SEC Office is in B'ham and the REC controls it.

Was a top 10-12 toughest road matchup last year. Their defense might have been the best in the country.

Since 2010 when Bama lost to 3 SEC teams (has not happened again) Bama has had only 2 (TWO) SEC opponents that have given them trouble >>> Auburn/OleMiss. They've played every SEC team, some several times and Auburn/OleMiss. NINE losses to SEC teams in damn near a decade, that's pretty good.

Bama fans are assuming I'm trying to detract from their accomplishments, when I've clearly stated that even if they had to play 3 hard SEC games in a row, they'd likely win them all with no trouble.

If anything, those 51-3 blowouts they put on CBS at 2:30 would have a chance of being competitive if Bama had some tough games bunched together.

MSU is not a hard match up and honestly LSU hasn't been much of one for a while.

No doubt it's been an incredible run. The most incredible we may ever see in modern football.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about Bama's SEC schedule, I think we should go to 9 games and have better divisional matchup balance. I've been saying this since 2006 when Arkansas won the West only because we had to play Florida and they didn't.

They play LSU every year and beat them every year. Why do fans of teams Bama play criticize the schedule? Your team has their shot of knocking Bama down. Perhaps if LSU tried not blowing it every year then you might feel better about it. Isn't that what this is really about?

Maybe not a CFP team, but they've made 9 bowl games in a row, they're known for playing a physical brand of football, and they had 3 first-rounders on their defense last year. They're not someone you want to play in the midst of a tough stretch of games.

Since 2011, anyway. It wasn't long ago that we won 5 straight.

I see other West teams playing 3-game stretches much tougher than anything Bama has done lately, or will do in 2020. I'm glad they're playing UGA in 2020, but it would be good for CFB to see them play a ranked SEC team before & after that game as well. Instead, it goes cupcake/UGA/cupcake.

Hopefully that changes this year. But I'm usually the guy trying to temper other LSU fans' expectations every November because I find it hard to see us beating Bama as long as Saban is there.
