What sport? Sounds like something auburn football would do but not sure there are enough games to be lost there.

In 2008, UCLA was preseason #1 in Baseball America and finished the season 33-27 and missed the NCAAT

He's talking about Tennessee. Serraneaux posted a thread a few weeks ago when Tennessee had the #1 team ERA in the nation. That team ERA is now 4th in the SEC overall and 8th in the SEC in conference play (4.68)
