His return hasn’t been ruled out. Yes I did leave out Sullivan, good catch. He played some decent games when Marshall was injured. Made a move to TE before Moss emerged. Apologies.

UGA, Bama, Auburn, and Florida are very good but not great. Bama was probably the best of the bunch with Tua but may be bottom of the bunch without him. That’s how close they are.

I would put UGA at the top, but only because they already beat Auburn and Florida.

Last night did not convince me that UGA is a lesser team than I thought. Their defense is really, really good and would be best in the country with a decent pass rusher.

Problem last night was that they ran into one of the better college offenses we have ever seen and LSU finally has the defense healthy and dialed in. LSU is not unbeatable, but if a team knocks us off, they are a hell of a college football team.

UGA would've finished second in the west. They beat AU and would've beaten Bama as well.

Possible I guess. It depends on when you play Bama. Bama with a healthy Tua is clearly the favorite.

But without, would have been evenly matched.

Not as good. I should have quoted what part I was replying to. There isn’t another Chase in the entire country. I was more referring to depth. And Stephen Sullivan would be there too,as someone else pointed out. Those guys can ball. They just happen to be stuck behind an elite WR corp

I got you. Our starters aren’t on your starters level and likely won’t be in their careers. Of course their backups are a level down. They are also a young room. They will hopefully all improve and become good upperclassmen. Maybe the one or two that have shown the potential can become game changers.

Georgia should be very good next year if Fromm can get his shite together. Possibly the pole position favorites for the SEC. That @ Bama game on Sep 19th should be a great matchup and will obviously be a big factor.

Fromm showed flashes but he also missed some wide open receivers a few times. It wasn’t all on the receivers. But when you are playing a team that can almost score at will you can’t make those mistakes over and over and expect to play with them.

That UGA defense is as physical as they come. It reminded me of some old LSU defenses.
