Last nights dismantling was proof where UGA would finish in the west

Somewhere behind bama in the 3-4 range. Your secondary is good and your defense is fast, but you don’t have the depth to run the SEC west gauntlet, everyone’s #3 receiving option would feast on you every game. Your receivers are on another level of bad. The LSU offense struggled a little in the red zone and left a lot of points on the field. This could have easily been a 40 pt win. It was an utter domination. LSU fans weren’t trolling when they made those threads saying the game wouldn’t be close, we just knew that this offense wouldn’t be stopped, and we had faith in our defense to step up in big games.

Our WRs (5/6 of the top ones) were either hurt, left the game hurt, or suspended. Most of them are also freshmen and sophomores.

But could you beat these teams with LSU and Bama sprinkled in? Like I said, I don’t think you have the depth.

UGA would've finished second in the west. They beat AU and would've beaten Bama as well.

Take 5 of your top 6 WRs out of last nights game, limit your top RBs carries to 2-5 due to injury...hows your offense look? Not excuse making..but we have depth, just not enough that it will allow us to beat teams like yours in such situations. Not sure we would with all of them playing. I don’t think any team has that kind of depth.

Ok. Your 6th WR is just as good as your 1st, etc..go it. And it’s not an excuse, Hell you probably still beat us. You coulda beat us worse last night had you wanted to. No one has 6/7/8 WRs who are championship caliber.

agreed, if you could give either AU or UGA , Bamas recievers and vice versus give Bama our Line backers or AU's line etc etc. UGA just couldn't buy a break at reciever this year and we were all hoping that it was just something that would eventually gel and it never did.

LSU shouldn't have even been forced to play the game yesterday. LSU earned the SEC title before the game even took place. I'm not a fan of the championship game. I hope that LSU made it out without any significant injuries
