Lol Davis was open by a good 5 yards too and just botched it. Fluke game all around with Hurd fumbling on the goal line and it getting returned 99 yds

Marcus Lattimore

One of my favorite non-LSU SEC football players.

Gonna try to do some RB numbers this evening that involve him.

You’ll have to go down the list. He wasn’t as good as the top dog SEC backs statically.

Next largest for Bama would be 15 vs Ohio State in 2014 (2015 Sugar Bowl).

Riiight. Damn we had them dead in the water up 15, 21 unanswered points, and they had a 3rd and long on their side of the field. Then they scored on I think 4 straight possesions

definitely. We were up 24-3 with a minute and half left in the first half. UT scored once, then sony fumbled the kickoff and UT scored again. If we go into half 24-3 or 10 instead of 24-17 I think we hang on.

Here is that dropped pass :( LINK

Ole Miss has blown 4 21-point leads in the last decade

OM had two in the first 3 games of the season in 2016.

At one time were beating #4 FSU and #1 Bama by 21 in first half of each game. Promptly shite the bed in second half both times.

The worst thing about the Bielema years was not the collapse after a big lead. It was that you couldn't enjoy any game, no matter the score, because that dread was always lurking in the back of your head. "We're going to collapse and lose this game."

Even if we were playing North East Tupelo Community College for the Blind and up by 35 you could never feel safe.

Preliminary checks, from 2010-2012 Lattimore had the most yards from scrimmage of any SEC player by over 400 yards. Most TDs as well.

that's what makes me shake my head when people make fun of uga for losing to ole miss that year (granted, we got utterly pummeled but people make fun of the loss period)...that early season ole miss team was damn good. I have no idea how they let things slip so badly out of control late in the year.

But that is for a 3 year window where his competition is who those 3 same years. Compare him to Ingram, LF, Henry, Mason, Gurly, or even Trayveon. He falls well short.

Rash of blown knees in key positions and also the ever present WAOM dark cloud.

You did all that research just to try and rustle A&M. This is getting downright sad.

I took it as a lot of research to find at least one thing LSU was "best" at.

Bittersweet. Was up in the Casino Queen porch which had one television showing the MU game. Watching between innings.

Losses by 77+ while also being shutout since 1936
Hmm, some interesting trivia in that post;

9/22/1945- Eastern New Mexico vs New Mexico 0-78
9/23/1950- Northern Arizona vs New Mexico 0-78
was New Mexico any good right after WW2?

9/23/1950- Northern Arizona vs New Mexico 0-78
11/11/1967- Northern Arizona vs New Mexico St 0-90
ouch, on the receiving end twice

11/8/1986- Missouri vs Oklahoma, 0-77
11/8/2003- Texas A&M vs Oklahoma, 0-77
impressive- twice in the modern era, against conference teams

Others that have done it multiple times
LSU
11/21/1936- ULL vs LSU, 0-93
9/24/1977- Rice vs LSU, 0-77
Michigan
10/21/1939- Chicago vs Michigan, 0-85
10/8/2016 - Rutgers vs Michigan, 0-78
Army
11/4/1944 - Villanova vs Army, 0-83
9/24/1955 - Furman vs Army, 0-81
Tulsa
9/27/1942 - Waco AFB vs Tulsa, 0-84
10/14/1967 - Tampa vs Tulsa, 0-77
