I don’t know how you’re supposed to handle a position change. Nobody is happy getting replaced. If I were a Bama fan, I would want the best player playing . People get benched all the time. Joe Montana watched Steve Young lose the ‘92 NFC championship game from the bench

L is Lane, he was simply repeating what Saban told reporters about what Saban thought were Lanes coaching inadequacies. Lan just reminded Saban what he said, needling Saban the way on Lane can since he coached with him.
