He tossed the baseball aside, pulled out a golf ball, and threw it to home for the first pitch.

Kiffin really is in his sweet spot as a head coach. Ole Miss is a destination job for the right coach and I think Lane is one of those coaches.
Every couple of years, with the right JUCO talent and some kids out of Memphis, he could make a real run at winning the SEC West. He should have Ole Miss bowl eligible just about every year.
I think he's the right guy, in the right place.
