On3 Ole Miss site reported that a player's coach said he tried to talk to them after AD told them Pete was their coach and they told Lane to get out.
Caleb Odom tweeted out something about how he didn't even bother to tell them first with a thumbs down emoji.
He later deleted it.

This feigned soft spot for the OM players was such a blatantly transparent recruiting pitch for LSU. In other words, "It is I who is responsible for your 11-1 season, and it is I who will maintain that level of performance. So join me as you must at LSU."
