Clemson made Kiffin quit and they haven't even played yet? Rats jumping off the sinking Bama ship while they still can.

14-0
3 SEC Championships in a row
4 of the last 7
6 in a row over LSU

"Sinking ship"

Maybe change that flair from clemson to a vag? Or a dickrider?

Saban: If you eat a booger on live TV I'll let you call the offense for the Championship game.

He had a lot more passing plays called in dumb situations where Hurts tucked it and turned it into a rushing play. You clearly have your finger on the pulse of the Bama program, though.

It doesn't mean Sark is going to light it up Monday, but it does mean Kiffin did a bad job Saturday. It was pretty obvious.

His use of Hurts, regardless of his production, led to some massive holes for Scarbrough to run through. It's not difficult to see, when you're not blinded by homerism, that Kiffin didn't call a great game, but it's not nearly as bad as some of you are making it out to be.

Now, you're all excited about a coach calling plays in the national title game who hasn't done so in a year. A game where he's going to need his offense to put up some points while going against one of the best defenses in the country.

At this point, Bama fans better hope Sark can stay sober for the next week. He's under a ton of pressure.

coaches study tendencies. There is nothing to study now.

From a distraction standpoint, sure, that would potentially impact Alabama and won't impact Clemson. From an X and O standpoint I'm sure Venables would rather just watch 3 years of kiffin calling plays at bama to get a read of what's going on

I don't think it did at all. I think Washington's plan was the same as LSU's plan, which was to keep Hurts in a box. However, they weren't able to tackle Scarborough with one guy. Ever. The entire day (neither was Florida). We continually called plays that made Hurts make tough decisions, and it was clear after about a quarter that Hurts was not mentally or physically ready for it that day.

No, I'm not. At all. And neither are most of the people in this thread. There's a giant risk, but there was a pretty big risk in letting Kiffin dick around for another week too. It isn't an ideal situation. I'm not super excited about anything.

You're clearly informed. So, tell me, how many of Hurts' 27 rushing attempts in those two games weren't designed?

Scarbrough got hit at or near the line of scrimmage on most of his big runs. Those massive holes Saturday are a figment of your imagination

don't see how Clemson is on their heels. The personnel is the same and the playbook is the same. Clemson calls the game the same way they were going to anyways. The distraction is solely on Bama and they will be answering questions about this all week before the biggest game of the year.

As said, coaches study tendencies quite a bit. And any wrinkle a week before the game could be beneficial.

As far as answering questions, Saban is the master of shutting shite like that down. I think people are underestimating Saban in this. He's not going to frick around without a solid arse plan in this kind of situation.

You keep saying this - except in key situations Lane kept letting QB who hit the wall run complex pass option stuff instead of crafting a plan based on a running game that gashed the last 3 opponents we played, all opponents with Top 15 rush defenses.

Here are our drive summaries from the 2nd and 3rd quarter Saturday when we had the ball starting at our 40 or closer

1st and 10 at Washington 45 (7:15, 2nd)
- Hurts pass attempt, sacked, -2 yards
- Hurts run, 0 yards
- Hurts pass, incomplete
- PUNT

1st and 10 at Alabama 44 (4:37, 2nd)
- Hurts pass incomplete
- Scarbrough run 16 yards to WASH 40
- Scarbrough run 12 yards to WASH 28
- Hurts pass attempt, sacked, loss 16
- Hurts pass complete, 3 yards
- Hurts pass complete, -3 yards
- PUNT

1st and 10 at Washington 48 (4:16, 3rd)
- Scarbrough run, 4 yards
- Hurts run, -1 yards
- Hurts run, -3 yards

Kiffin was a disaster with his pass play calls and his direct runs for Hurts. Washington couldn't tackle Bo for less than 3 yards, yet Lane INSISTED to continue running and throwing with Jalen. It was poor coaching. It was poor playcalling. If you can't recognize that, then I don't know what to tell you.

Agree with much from above...

I thank Kiffin for his time, and he did well with 3 different starting QB's, but these last 3-4 games Kiffin has been trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Good luck to Kiffin and I hope he has success at FAU...

Clemson is still going to run the 4-3 over. They are still designed to stop spread offenses. They are still going to get their line to the QB.

It's not an advantage to Bama except for removing a distraction from the team. Unfortunately the timing is going to create distraction as well.

But Veneablea isn't going to change the game plan.

Many. Nobody even gets your angle here. Is it that this decision by Saban is somehow catastrophic to Bama's chance to beat Clemson? Because Saban disagrees. Most rational people do, too.

Couldn't help but read that like my 10 year old female cousin due to the "SO". Surprised there wasn't a "like" or "totally" thrown in:
