f I'm OU, I'm going all in trying to get Kiffin.

I like Arkansas OC better! Briles's father can help him out just like Shane to Carolina.

You do realize he's won two, don't you?

Lane Kiffin has been the head coach of two national championship teams?

The quote I replied to didn't say "national".

Lane would be crazy to ever leave Ole Miss. He's a perfect fit there.

I thought he would go to Florida. And I still think he might go to Miami.

But you are right in this - Oxford is one of the few places where he can fit, long term. They're good enough to compete, and there's enough talent around there to field good teams. He can socialize. It's a good place for him - and something he can sustain.

We'll see if he's wise enough to stick with a good thing. Most coaches, unfortunately, are victims of ego.

Kiffin isn’t leaving Ole Miss this year. Details will be out once a couple of more jobs are filled but Sexton is doing Sexton things right now

Ole Miss has never, with any frequency, been a top 10 team. And now the SEC is about to add Texas and Oklahoma. How exactly do you expect to be a top 10 program frequently when they've once, in the history of their program, won 10 regular season football games? Because they're going to have to win 10 regular season games frequently to be in a 12 team playoff frequently.

Consider LSU. LSU had no history of being particularly important before the last 20 years. Things change.
