Tee Martin's son is a veteran NFL wide receiver. That's how long it's been since Tennessee won an SEC championship in football. Mindblowing!

Lane offered him the OC position at Ole Miss back in 2020 and got turned down.

He accepted an analyst position at LSU...

You think this is a great hire? Tee didn’t do shite while at Kentucky. This is a dud.
Cool! It's an analyst position...

Gotta ask if he’s so great, why didn’t Harbaugh take him to NY?

True, however, there are some questions about his recruiting ability.

What does this matter? He is an analyst and can't even recruit off campus.

I was just clarifying that his recruiting was more of a shortcoming than his position coaching.

True, however, there are some questions about his recruiting ability. In 2016, he was the WR coach and Offensive Coordinator for USC. There was a kid in Knoxville who played at Knoxville Catholic High School who chose to go to Clemson rather than go to USC

So a kid from Tennessee decided to:

Go to a team with a lot more recent overall success and closer to home over the worse team across the country? Color me shocked

He graduated in 2017. In the prior 5 years, here is where USC and Clemson finished in the AP polls.

2012 - 1) USC; 14) Clemson
2013 - 8) Clemson; 24) USC
2014 - 15) USC; 16) Clemson
2015 - 8) USC; 12) Clemson
2016 - 2) Clemson; 20 USC

USC had the #4 ranked recruiting class, and Clemson's class was ranked 19th. In the 2017 AP Preseason Poll, USC was ranked 4th (with 2 first place votes) and Clemson was ranked 5th (with 0 first place votes). Clemson had been more successful in the 2016 season...but overall, they didn't have "a lot more recent overall success" when Rodgers picked them over USC.

He did choose to stay closer to his mother and step-father rather than go and play for his father.
