Why? In 5 seasons at LSU he won 1.

At that rate he would have needed to coach 45 more years to win 10 national championships. Nick Saban would be 93.

There is no logical or rational reason to believe Nick Saban would have won 10 national championships at LSU.

He was relatively unknown when he came to LSU, SEC wise. It took him a while to build the program at LSU and build the team through recruiting. The 2003 team bought him some prestige so by 2005 or so, he would've really been rolling.

He also wouldn't have lost out on the 2005, 06, and 07 seasons, had he stayed at LSU.

I don't know about 10 natties but he probably has similar success to what he did at Bama. Ms. Terri said as much in the "A Football Life" documentary.

Borderline top 25 isn't that "pedestrian" when there are 130+ Division I football programs.

There are 68 P4 teams. If you are a P4 team and the 20th to 30th best team out of 68 you are very pedestrian.

Bozo Les Miles won it in 2007 and took us again in 2011 which he would’ve won if not for Saban.

It don’t think it’s hard to imagine that Saban would have at least won 2007 and 2011 and likely a few more in that time period. He was just beginning to really build a monster when he left.

Meh, the real middle would be 34 so anything under 30 is still above average.

I think you have confusion on what pedestrian means. Pedestrian does not mean average.

By definition it means common. Good but not great middle of the pack borderline top 25 football teams are common.

average

b
: not out of the ordinary : common
on an average day
the average person

Both words share multiple synonyms including "standard". Something common isn't great, isn't terrible, not top, not bottom, somewhere in the middle. Average is the middle.

So are you saying that average is the halfway point between two numbers? Because you used it like that earlier. You corrected me and argued that because they weren’t the exact number they weren’t pedestrian.

Now you are arguing the opposite. That average just means ordinary. You seem to prefer whichever fits your argument. It is very fluid like you.

Just another average Sidewalk circular argument.

It's all very simple, dalton.

If average is somewhere in the middle, then something not quite in the middle, is above average.

Pedestrian is something that is common, unremarkable, not above average, not below average.

BY GOD...we won a game 25 years ago...

Sit the frick down. That was then, this is now.

By the way, you didn't end anything. Phill Fulmer sitting on his arse riding his laurels and Mike Hamilton making disastrous hires torpedoed UT.

LShitU had nothing to do with it.

How about LShitU?

Joe Burrow ain't coming back through that door.

Maybe if you could hire a championship winning coach instead of a "I was this close" troll.

I actually have a life, Troy. I also went to UT and it doesn't affect me in the grand scheme of things, no matter what happens on the sports field. .

Yours must suck, or what happens at a school you never attended would not play such an important part in your life.
