The Collins threads always make me feel better about my life. Anyone that harasses athletes is seriously demented.

That's why he went to Bama, so why is he still getting shite over it?

More black people got state appointments than ever, it goes beyond the cabinet.

I understand that people think of him only in a certain way, it just isn't the whole story.

Well if everything went the way George Wallace had preferred, the recruitment of Landon Collins still would have come down to 2 schools - Southern University and Grambling State University.

If he doesn't make it in the league he should stay there.

Well he opened his mouth up about it again multiple times over the last week to ten days, so that might have something to do with it.

Because he mentioned LSU fans last week "throwing him in the dirt" and then participated in the article linked in this thread?

It doesn't mean it makes it ok for people to still talk shite about him, but he is one bringing it back up...

Guys come on, we're two days away from the game, got a great slate of games tonight, I say we all gather around, sing "Why Can't We Be Friends" and have a nice intelligent discussion about the game.

How much blood do you want on this one?

He apologized and started reversing his awful legacy. I guess we should be as vindictive as possible because he was wrong about this issue.

Hopefully because he certainly won't be welcome back in this state ever again
NFL stars go wherever they want. Why would Landon want to be "welcomed back" to Texas, by the way?

Wallace "apologized" because he had a D by his name it was all political. Hell everything Wallace did was politically calculated.

It only came up because of the shitshow that continues against him about him leaving.

If LSU fans didn't want to be known as having Updyke style assholes then starting this whole thing with Landon was a bad idea.

I guess she doesn't know that Saban is his position coach.

It must suck to be as bitter and small as you are

You really shouldnt let 18 year old kids and football games affect you so much.

Of course

Look I don't know if you missed the memo but we don't like Alabama. And when you combine that with the way he handled it there was going to be some blowback. Now any harassment or slurs he got are obviously over the line but I'm not going to apologize for rooting against him in his career or as a player.
