Huey Long was promoting literacy for blacks in the 1920's. George Wallace was trying to keep them out of the University of Alabama in the 1960's. Funny how when they talk about the Civil Rights struggles in the 60's that they constantly mention Montgomery and Selma - Not Baton Rouge and Alexandria.

Without reading all of this, I was just wondering has a single LSU fan acknowledged that if what this woman claims is true, the treatment of these women was unacceptable? Or have all of them just continued to prove her right?

If it's true that there were racial slurs used then of course that's unacceptable.

The rest of it, especially given what we know on our side about how shady his whole recruitment was, doesn't bother me nearly as much.

The amount of hypocrisy being displayed in this thread is monumental.

Hey, remember when a former head of the KKK received 32% of the vote for governor in Alabama? Oh, you don't?

Because that wasn't Alabama at all, it was Louisiana in 1989.

Trust me, neither Alabama nor Louisiana should be throwing stones about racial inequality.

Um, he ended up at ALABAMA. What could be more shady to a ranter?

LC is one of them now

Couldn't care less, from here on out, wtf he's doing or saying about LSU.

Both states have racist fans

LC brought all of this on himself, he just need to move on and hopefully play in NFL as a free agent or something.

Beats me.

I just read the first page and was disappointed. I couldn't read 8 more pages of LSU and Alabama fans arguing over which has the less classy sidewalk fans.

Way to class it up there LSU.

Please explain what the hell the University has to do with a random letter from someone in Pennsylvania? I'd really be interested to know.

LSU is a better overall athletic program than Alabama because another LSU sport wouldn't sacrifice and take a less talented Landon Collins girlfriend.

But Alabama is the better football program but the overall program is weaker so they would take a less talented Landon Collins girlfriend

I am glad that no one in Alabama uses the N-word.

The white people in this state are the most racist I have ever seen and they say it all the time. I love the self-righteousness of the Bama fanbase, though. So fitting.

32 percent is not big amount.

you can pick a random SEC ranter and have him backed by one of the two big parties and he would get 40 percent.

A woman just got 40 percent against chris Christie in new jersey so this is evidence I am right.
