Wherever he goes, I hope Worley is able to put up 5 TDs against them like he did his high school team this year.

Clowney will be in the NFL before Worley sees the field at UTk.

Clowney Plays:

2011
2012
2013

Bray Plays:

2011
2012
Maybe/Maybe not 2013

Possibly in 2013. I'm looking forward to it. Plus at this point, crowning anyone an NFL star based off a recruiting ranking would be silly. Right now Rivals is batting .500 on their #1 players. From 2002 to 2008.

They're not. They're basing it off his insane film.

Andre Smith was just as dominant in h.s.

Reading comprehension. I stated I hope he puts 5 TDs on whatever team Clowney is playing similar to what he did to his high school team. That is not a comparison. That is a statistical fact. The "I hope" part is for what I would like him to do in the future. Never did I say Worley would be drafted or more successful than him.

Hired him today to replace Bo Davis who is going to Texas.

Totally worth it for Clowney alone.

Thanks and for Clowney it would be worth it but is this guy a good or known DL coach; can we expect a better pass rush from our DL without so many blitzes?

Bama shouldn't have to rely on getting a passrush from the DL, that's the LBs job in a 3-4. The DL needs to mantain blocks while getting a consistent push, allowing the LBs to make the plays...

That would change with Clowney in the lineup.

Depends on where he plays, there has been rumors of both DE and OLB if he went to Bama...

Not sure what you are laughing about? Clowney had Bama high on his list before the hire and Rumph is one of his favorite coaches recruiting him. Even the USCe message boards are calling Sabans hire pretty brilliant concerning Clowney not to mention Rumph is a fine DL coach.
So please by all means share your thoughts instead of some emoticons.

Damn.

With the Rumph hire, the two being pretty friendly with each other, and Arie at Bama...this could play out well for us.

Yes I know Cyrus isn't that big on Arie at Bama. Yes I know Clowney is a SCar lock. Yes I know he's also an LSU lock.

Just an observation from the video and what we know from their connections off the field.

Cyrus is a lock...

He's been a lock ever since his brother committed IMO.

Clowney is the kind of player you go after no matter what your defensive scheme is. He's a game changer, and an "instant pass rush." Saban is not retarded. The Rumph hire was genius and should only strengthen our chances with this monster.

He's repeatedly said his brother's playing at Bama isn't that big of a factor in his recruiting. However, with the vacancy of Carpenter, he has to understand he has a chance to earn some early playing time as a RS Frosh which would be ideal for his development and future in the NFL. I'm positive that is his ultimate goal.

Only thing I'm confused about is earlier he had an interview in December about how he wanted to commit and be an EE wherever he went. Obviously too late for that.

His brother playing at UA HAS to help us. How could it not?
