again in the BCSNCG.
You guys are wise beyond your years. You know if LSU plays anyone else other than Alabama, the media will cast doubt on your NC title because clearly Alabama is the logical choice and clearly better than anyone else not named LSU.

Regardless of who LSU beats in the NC, this team will go down in history. They're incredible. Better hope Trent goes OFF or Alabama has about a 1% chance to win

Go frick yourself gump.

History would say lsu was undefeated and beat bama at home. That's all.

Oh, and I am not opposed to a rematch.

I know, if only there was a way for these 2 teams to have played this season so we could find out, right?

This sounds awfully like a lil' bro trying to seek approval from his older and superior bro.

Actually we have no say in who plays in what games - fans can only show their like or dislike of matchups based on what they would prefer to see.

That said - the LSU win will have no asterisk next to it regardless of whichever team they beat in New Orleans.

As much hatred as there appears to be here for Saban and Bama, it's hard to believe most don't want to see it, knwoing they stand a good chance of winning twice and becoming the greatest team potentially in SEC history.

This is the best Gump logic yet

So LSU's National Championship would be tainted because we didnt beat the mighty Alabama twice in a season?!

LOL keep telling yourself that man, better yet keep telling LSU fans that. But when you look back on a potential championship the slate will still read:

November 5th @ Alabama 9-6 W

There won't be an * saying:
* but Alabama did miss 4 FG's so LSU didnt win Alabama lost.

I think LSU is damned if we damned if we don't. There will be an outcry if there is an All SEC championship game, there is no doubt about that. They will say "Yeah, LSU had a great season, but we'll never know for sure if they would have beat _____. We had already seen them beat Alabama once".

Personally, I would rather beat Alabama and not have to hear the outcry from Southeast. The rest of the country can get over it.
