People are kind of overlooking how cheesy weddings are by nature. They're hodge-podge rituals filled with superstitions, melodrama, and lots of weeping as participants wearing costumes follow obscure patterns and make pledges that, statistically, 50% of them will later break. Holding one in a football stadium, especially if you come from a family whose lives revolve around the sport, isn't any less objectively silly than holding one in a place where, come Sunday, the atmosphere will be "Behave or go to hell and burn forever." We're just acclimated to the latter.
Granted, driving a Rolls-Royce around an enclosed area for no particular reason and having no particular destination is a little weird even by wedding standards. But I've been to a wedding where the bride and groom left on horses and switched to a limo when just out of sight, so it's all relative.

But the Rolls-Royce part of it all, that's class. You have to admit that.

The BDS exodus requires suspension of disbelief.

I dunno. It's kind of bourgeois. Those of us from old money tend to go with 1960s-era Alfa Romeos.

I shall say not, sir, I shall say not. A Rolls Royce is, and always will be, a fine gentleman's transportation reserved for only the highest of class and for those with the most discerning of tastes.
Alfa Romeo's are generally considered Euro-Trash grease-ball wagons.

I have enjoyed my two Alfa Spiders. Did not think I was Euro trash lol

RA'd this thread, has nothing to do with the SEC. It was fun, but now time to move on.
This thread is degrading towards Alabama. The mods will let this baby roll no matter how many RAs they get.

Well, mostly traditional. Holmes walked down theJust got a tent near the stadium? Oh well, wtf?
She is a dream come true for 99% of Red Stickers.
1) frick you and yo momma. Carl the Cat is good people.
2) The two couldn't really afford a big wedding so Walk Ons put the whole thing together for them. Saban is a fricking multi-millionaire. Big difference.

Haven't read this thread, but are you guys actually arguing about Saban's daughter's wedding? . . . and then the couple driving in Bryant Denny?
Seriously?
You guys needs lives . . . Bama fans commenting on this board as well.

Oh, I see. So, if you are too fricking poor to afford a wedding under a tent, on the side of the road, you are good folk.
If you actually walk down the aisle to the tune of the LSU fight song, you are upper echelon, high society classy. This, of course, only if you are an LSU fan.
Coonies are impervious to recognizing irony, aren't they?

This is such a tired defense. Just stop.

This. The fact that more Alabama fans don't get this is almost as embarrassing as the act itself.
Why should I be embarrassed?
You mean to tell me I should be embarrassed because of what a bunch of people who will look for anything to sling at Alabama say?
And in response because of where the coaches daughter held the reception of her wedding?
Hell frick no.
You'd think we just had a Mike Price type incident the way you act.

No, he's just a good guy. He's a local high school ref and has been with the BR Clerk of Courts office forever. He was at every LSU event for a long time. Even things like tennis and swimming. He's just a genuinely nice guy.

I don't think anyone said this but it's funny that this is your argument.

That is common. I mean, what trash imagines that they are actually trash?

I'm done discussing it. I've stated how I feel. At this point, the ones keeping it going are the ones bitching about how unfair the treatment is.

Aren't you the guy that proposed to his lady at A-Day last year?
Posted on 5/31/15 at 11:26 pm to harmonics
Not really. I was the guy who said I proposed and got blasted from many Alabama fans. It is funny that you mention that.

This thread looks ripe for a hijack.

Funny stuff here.
Alabama white trash redneck vs LSU white trash redneck smack on a message board.
Classic.
Now when you Cretins are finished, yall get over here and cut my grass, then wash my car and wax with two coats.
When finished, knock on the service entrance in the back and I'll give yall some nice sammages to take back to the trailer.....
