Right now he is best remembered to have won the last 2 National Championships the SEC has gotten. And thta was done while Nick Saban was still coaching.

I think his legacy is just fine.

Alabama fans spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about the legacy of another teams coach. I guess that could be another legacy for him. Scaring the living daylights out of Alabama fans.

according to Webster “ a mixture of words or phrases that is confused and difficult to understand: Your explanation is a pompous word salad, with absolutely no meaning. Speech disorganization can involve words blended together into incomprehensible statements, annd avoiding answers to questions asked is also known as word salad.

My definition is: you

“ avoiding answers to questions”, “and veers off topic”.

Clarity doesn’t mean it makes sense.

Kirby built the best program in the nation and it was Georgia that got robbed in the playoff selection last year. They would have dragged Michigan for a 3rd title in a row. His legacy is pretty good.

Moving forward, Kirby will have still won back-to-back titles. His legacy will be fine.

Kirby is a great recruiter and good coach. He’ll be fine even if Bama wins. Face it, Georgia ain’t going anywhere.

The reality is UGA vs Bama means less now than it did under the 4 team playoff.

A single loss could often (but not always) end your chance at a national title in the old system. When UGA and Bama faced off as top teams, the game had a whole lot riding on it.

It doesn't now. Every team has at least one and for SEC teams likely 2 mulligans and can still make the 12 team playoff.

I expect UGA to lose a game this year. I want them to win every game, but the season isn't in danger with a single loss. It's not really even in danger with a second loss. What matters is making the playoff then how you do in the playoff.

If UGA loses to Bama in the regular season matchup and again in the SECCG then wins the national title... I'll be happy with that even if they finish 1-2 or 0-2 against Bama.

Bama simply doesn't matter. The national championship does.

The first logical, rational and explained answer yet. You addressed the question and it was clear so I applaud you. I agree. I think Bama loses one possibly two games as well. Kudos and good luck.

he could also go to the NFL and do something Saban couldn't, win a Super Bowl if he gets sick of the college bs

He’d already be in NFL IF that’s what he wants.

He’s shaping the lives of young men. Helping them drive themselves full speed to their team and personal goals.
