This was the case for a long time when everyone was run heavy. It's not the case any more. Check out UK vs. Ball State and Ole Miss vs. GT.
TOP is meaningless with explosive offenses. Especially if they run a lot of HUNH.

There's no doubt that we were trying to tire out your defense. I'm not saying TOP may reflect that in certain games. But in far more games than not, it means little to nothing.
