The losses and bad years you just ignore and pretend they don't count if it doesn't fit the narrative.
Most “bad” years we don’t play UGA.

Sneak preview: it won’t. Crow about Coach O and ‘19 all y’all want, it’s coming.

Right, but that works both ways. When we do play LSU, especially lately, you are usually at your best. We were totally outclassed by LSU in 2011 and 2019. Those were not even rosters, especially in 2011. But I would have loved to play LSU in 2020 or 2021, or 2017 for that matter. But that's not the way it works.
I think we'll have our hands full in Atlanta, but I don't think Ed O's teams from '18 and '19 or championship teams from over a decade ago have any bearing on that.

What point are you trying to make? You're the fanbase that still tries to use "since 1990" when framing the UGA-Florida series. Arbitrary cut-offs are arbitrary.

If only 25-30 years counts for one it counts for all. No reason to get upset.

You already asked. Because there are no college players over 30, or probably 25. So what happened before they were alive has no bearing on their mindset. They're not thinking, "oh man LSU owns us. We can't win " when we're .500 in their lifetimes.

I'm not upset at all, I just wasn't really following what you were getting at. If you want us to use the all-time record, that's fine, but just say that. An LSU fan requested the series record over the last 2 decades, so that's what we were going on.
We haven't played LSU all that often historically, so whether you use 20, 25, 30, 50 years or whatever it doesn't make much of a difference. That's all I was getting at. We didn't play at all from 1953 to 1978.

You do realize the WLOCP is 19-11 in our favor over that same span, right?

And UGA is 55-44-2 against Florida all-time since that's the only thing you can comprehend.

Y'all just said only the past 25-30 years matter.

Mark Richt went 9-3 the year Georgia fired him to hire Kirby. They must have had a ton of faith in Kirby and it's paying off
No, the right people finally tired of the "aw shucks" schtick and knew that his ceiling was just what he had shown: 9.5 wins per year. I wanted him fired years prior, but who the frick am I but one man in a sea of red that idolized the man for some perceived greatness because he used the words "God" and "Jesus" more than some other coaches with more wins and hardware.
It probably didn't hurt that the admin was assured that Kirby would come home and usher in sweeping changes to make the Bulldog Machine more sophisticated.

It wasn’t just that. Michael Adams wasn’t at UGA anymore and McGarity agreed to open up the wallet.
No one in UGAA supported Richt with the money he needed to compete in the SEC after Saban arrived…Not worth arguing over. This is the best era historically UGA has ever seen (yes, even better than the early 80’s) and I’m glad I’m here to see it.

The real life Eric Taylor, insane how this all worked out.
Oh yeah LSU will be crying after the game

How many titles/big games did he win as a head coach before Georgia hired him?
