Kirby will not win a Championship at UGA! Mullen will overtake the East this year probably maybe next but it’s coming

It took Kirby two years as a head coach to overtake the East, win the SEC and play for the NC. What is taking Mullen so long, since he is a better coach?

it's a stone cold fact, not sure why people struggle with it so much. Kirby is at his first ever head coaching gig. Saban was in year 8 or something when he first did somethign successful at LSU in 2001 and like year 10ish when he won his first natty. Orgeron was a head coach in the SEC for like 4 years then at USC before finally doing something successful in his 3rd year at LSU. It's almost like....head coaches grow throughout their tenure and get better? Crazy I know. But people expect kirby to win a natty within his first 5 years ever on the job. It's just laughably disingenuous.

As for the OP, your math sucks. Kirby has coached 4 years, so unless Richt only coached for 12 we are not 1/3 of the way through. People sitll also can't seem to grasp in their skulls that early era Richt was really, really good and one of hte hottest young coahces in America. Comparing kirby to 2001-2007 richt is a high compliment. Richt was fired because his last 6-7 years were mediocre with only 2012 being the real high point. He absolutely stagnated and it was 100% crystal clear we had no chance at winning a title with him. When Kirby starts losing multiple games a year we shouldn't, going to overtime with GA southern, losign to all of our biggest rivals, recruiting worst than 4-6 other SEC teams each year, and hoping and praying for a capital one bowl appearance I'd say it's time to reassess his future.

They're only misleading if they lead you away from the preconceived point youre trying to get across. Saying "Kirby has been a head coach for 4 years. Saban was a head coach for X years prior to 2003. Orgeron was a head coach for X years prior to 2019" isn't misleading in any way. It's about as dry and objective as you could possibly be.

The idea that Mullen is going to start owning Kirby cracks me up. The weird thing is even non Florida fans say it a lot.

Florida will definitely beat Georgia again someday, Dan Mullen just won’t be the coach when that finally happens.
