I do! It's a shame you don't. The particular injury Bowers had is typically a nonissue and they come back stronger after the surgery.

I mean, Tennessee fans worry more about our players than you do about your own. Bowers is an adult. You can call him a kid all you want, but he can serve in the military, get married, vote.....I have feeling he is keenly aware of what his draft status is and will not risk anything if there is a risk.

Maybe UT fans should allow the players to make their own decisions and stop wringing their hands over people thye do not know.

UT Fans: "OMG! Y'all can't let hi come back against us!" "What if he gets hurt!"

What if any player gets hurt? Maybe UT should not allow any of their NFL bound players to play because it risks injury and it could ruin their NFL career....or their life after football?

I am sure you hope and pray Pili does nto come back and pay for the VOLS this year.

Coach Josh Heupel said injured Tennessee linebacker Keenan Pili isn’t ready to return to the lineup yet, and it’s not clear if he will play again this season.

Pili, a BYU transfer, could try to return and play late in the season. But this is his sixth year of college football, including a COVID exempt year, so he’s out of eligibility after this season.

This is no laughing matter.

I can't imagine why Tennessee played these two guys risking their NFL career and life after football.

Josh Heupel anticipates Tennessee football will be getting cornerback Doneiko Slaughter and wide receiver Dont'e Thornton back from injury against Texas A&M on Saturday.

The Vols did not have Thornton against South Carolina, and Slaughter has been out or limited for the past month due to injury.

Yet they both came back and are playing. My guess is they are a hairs breadth away from life threatening injury that could damage them for the rest of their lives.

I'm sorry. I forgot. This is no laughing matter.

Such a great year. We won a natty when CFB was at its peak.

Sincerely, enjoy yours in what will be remembered as by far the worst era of CFB, the years between when NIL started and the 12 team playoff.

I hope they trot the gimp out there, in some vain hope that he'll be able to recapture that pre-injury success.

One wrong cut, and he's done, career over. He'll be selling used cars in Roswell.

But Kirby don't care. YOU don't care, either.

You do understand this is an ankle sprain... right?

I feel like people are forgetting what the injury was. It was a high ankle sprain. Those tend to linger if you just rest them, so players now get a tightrope surgery to increase the stability of the ankle so they can come back and play faster with less chance of reinjury from the sprain.

But even with reinjury... the injury that happens isn't life or career threatening. It's an ankle sprain.

Basically, Tennessee fans are saying "Oh no, he's coming back to soon and he might sprain his ankle again. Think of his draft status!"

Do you know what would happen to Brock Bowers draft status due to an ankle sprain?

Absolutely nothing.

Didn't you say that once back from injury they are more likely to get injured again?

Do it, then. Trot him out there. But blame yourself when he reinjures it.

Like I said, you guys don't care about his future. You just want to eke out whatever production you can get from him.

Ain't this rich. For the first time in history, a vol cares about the health of a Georgia player.

Somehow, I think this is self-serving hypocrisy from your typical hillbilly degenerate.
