In as much as I have a "chance" to have a glorious three way with Shakira and Gwen Stefani - then sure, Kirby has a "chance" to be better than Saban.

Literally every coach has a "chance" at being better than Saban.
I also have a chance of winning the lottery and having it hand delivered to me by Dani Torres, who then falls madly in love with me.

After winning one national championship seriously? Sorry but, Kirby Smart is not even close to Sabans league. He Still reminds me of Les Miles 2.0
People may laugh but this is actually a good assessment.
Prior to 10 January 2022 Kirby was Richt 2.0,
As of now Kirby and Les Miles do have similarities:
-Both beat and lost to Saban the same season. Reverse the championships.
-Both are 1-1 in National Championship games.
This Les Miles 2.0 stuff will fade away over the horizon after Kirby win another Championship.

A&M fans say not so fast. Jimbo has the chance to be better than Nick.

No they didn't.
It was a perfect storm of players & coaches that was gonna be almost impossible to duplicate.
Kirby has now lost 5 assts (including 3 coordinators but always seems to replace em with someone better...something coach O couldn't do.

I probably won't hold my breath. I doubt anybody eclipses the GOAT. I mean, I would absolutely love it if he did. It just isn't reasonable to even consider it.

Why don’t we wait about projecting things like this until he has multiple national titles?
This, exactly. If he had 5 or so, I might could get on board. One? Nope. There are tons of coaches with one.
Gene Chizik has one. Ed Orgeron has one. I could go on.

If the East continues to be a dumpster fire, it can happen - just like a mini-ACC schedule for Clemson. All while Bama (or LSU) face the gaunlet.
Meanwhile, UGA loses less players to injury, meets the West champion (and even loses) but still makes the playoffs and wins it all. With less injured, the next season is a better starting point.
What may have sounded crazy 6 months ago, we know just happened.

What "gauntlet?" The West has been a freakin cakewalk for Bama 3 outta the last 4 years. You went unchallenged in division play in '18 and '20 and didn't get challenged til the SECCG's

And you didn't even win the division in '17 yet still made the playoffs.Whats your point?

This is stupid. People thought O would rattle off 3-4 more natty’s too. Don’t be a prisoner of the moment.
If you can't tell the difference between the program building ability between O and Kirby, much less the sustainability of the two, then you don't understand football, head to head record be damned.

He also has a chance to be Larry Coker.

Look 2021 HAD BEEN GREAT FOR ME, I love Kirby and he has proven not only to be a GREAT recruiter but also a really, really good Head Coach (seems to be really great at choosing assistants coaches as well)
But Kirby has a LONG way to go to be in the same discussion as the GOAT (SABAN).

Yes he does. Saban has 7 natties and is on the verge of clocking out. Kirby has played for 2 Natties and won one. He's got time and in the right place to do it.

Will probably get downvoted, and that makes sense. Riley is relatively young, and has his program in the right direction. Could he end up as a greater coach than Saban when his career is over? I think so. I'll doubt he will test the NFL
OP is a huge stretch but your try is flat out dumb. Had Riley stayed at OU then you might have a less dumb post but Riley hasn’t done anything close to what Kirby has done let alone Saban.
