Not yet. Georgia still has to take out some leftover frustrations from the 90s.

UF fans should be patient with Billy. I think he can build a good program. But this season it looks like y’all have a tough schedule and I have a hard time seeing anything better than a max of 7-5, so it feels like a lot of people will be calling for his head and there will be no stability.

The Gators are on the road back, heading in the right direction. Just need a couple recruiting classes like the 2024 class is looking like.

I think the non-mouth breather fans will give him time, unlike Mullen and Mac our fanbase likes Billy and will be more patient than they have in the past. He isn't wearing a Vader costume or making up death threats so at least we've got that going for us.

Agree with this. A lot of the issues with prior coaches was the off the field stuff, especially Mac and Mullen. Napier seems to be doing a great job connecting with boosters. Even the Rashada thing was way out of his control and it seems like they straightened up NIL big time and have the boosters and admin moving in the right direction together. He seems like he will be getting to year 4.

Sunbelt Billy was a decent coach considering the Sunbelt Conference is the lowest rated Major College conference in the US. And until Covid came along, UL-Lafayette was on a level of Arkansas St and perhaps South Alabama. It has since returned to sub-par levels.

Sunbelt Billy is NOT an SEC level coach or recruiter for that matter. Florida is a household name and a big time powerhouse who deserves a coach at that level.

Nah. Tennessee & other Eastern rivals need a bit more revenge prior to that happening.

A) The Sun Belt is not a major conference.
B) If you are going to be silly and group them as a major conference, then the MWC and Conference USA are also major conferences, and the Sun Belt is clearly better than those two.

Recruits seems to love him and his vision for the program. If not for the previous dysfunctional collective, he would have had a much higher ranked class last year. Now that the NIL woes have been addressed, he is recruiting at an elite level.

He does need to fix the play calling though. It looks like Florida will at least be better on defense this year. Wouldn't be surprised if the Gators beat some favored teams this season.

Me too, Bammer. I think we're on the right track, sustainably this time.

Most Gator fans agree and nobody will be calling for his head unless he goes 1-11

Coach? Time will tell.

Recruiter? Time is telling right now.

Shhhh!! We like them now.

They have always been a thorn in our side doesn’t matter how good or bad we have been in the past.
That Fla game was always circled as a L .

I think if they at least show a better product in general, that will help things. I think BN will do fine but it'll take time.

QB play and Defense being improved will be our biggest keys.

Of our four previously fired post Spurrier coaches, only muschamp was fired exclusively for on field performance.

Zook had the frat run-in

McElwain made up the death threats

Muschamp quiet quit

All three would have gotten at least another year if they didn't self sabotage. And of those, I think only Zook actually wanted another year.
