Staley is a good coach, but Mulkey has done more in her career so far. Mulkey is ahead of Staley in the same way Saban is ahead of Smart.
Mulkey has three national titles and five Final Fours. Only the third coach to take two schools to the Final Four. 690 career wins.

If Staley wins this one, you may be right. If Mulkey wins another (at 2 schools) you're not.
Whats frustrating is the covid year we probably win that one. We were the #1 team all year just to not be able to play that postseason.

You can’t just ignore the career wins and other success. Regardless, Mulkey is a HOFer and Staley is certainly headed that way.

I can if Staley is on pace to do more...
Ill say it, the rebuild of LSU is impressive, but if Staley left SC I have zero doubts she could have a program rebuilt in two years with the portal. Her name is just too big at this point.

Mulkey only had the “luck” of beating a 1 seed in the final 4. Too bad she didn’t have the luck of being the overall #1 seed, odds on favorite to win it all, on a 40something game win streak just to choke it away. How embarrassing.
