It’s funny, Clemson Matt. When you want to talk college football, you either go to tiger net or secrant. The ACC and Clemson is a joke. You have to take time out of your day to come to a different conference message board to try to troll a team that made it through the sec west with a very injured team and finished 10-2.
Clemson has like 3 bars and they always keep all the lights on. Have fun in the cheezit bowl.

I mean….as far as trolls go, you’re pretty good, but a pretty good troll is still a troll. I marvel at the mindset that says……”I am a clemson fan and im gonna go on an sec message board and try to rustle some ole miss jimmies about oregon, that is gonna make me feel fantastic!!” Mission accomplished, you are the man!!

Same number of NC’s at Clemson and we don’t play in a c level conference.

Same number of titles. Doesn’t matter how you try to spin.

2nd rate? Tennessee is far above Clemson overall and is a top 10 all time program. Sorry you think CFB started in 2014.

I don’t see Kiffin leaving Ole Miss after 2 seasons. Would be a bad decision, no matter the destination. Plus he seems to fit in well in Oxford.

Ole Miss has one title recognized. Not 3
And whoever clowns on Clemson for having 3 bars hasn’t been to Oxford, MS. They have about the same number but people only go to 1

Reasoning is sound even if source is an undesirable.

Undeniably true.

top 10 all time program
Well, maybe. Tennessee is on the cusp, along with a couple other SEC programs, but the past 20 years have really hampered VOLS. For instance, today, 5/6 of the Big Six programs have been ranked more often than VOLS.
These six programs are undeniably greater than Tennessee:
Alabama
Nebraska
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Southern Cal
The argument can also be made these programs are greater than Tennessee, although two of them have an identical number of AP national titles (two) as VOLS, and one has three:
- Michigan (higher winning percentage, more conference championships, more wins, more Heisman winners, more NFL draft picks, more weeks ranked in the AP poll)
- Penn State (higher winning percentage, more wins, more Heisman winners, more NFL draft picks, more weeks ranked in the AP poll)
- Texas (higher winning percentage, more wins, more conference championships, more bowl games, more Heisman winners, more NFL draft picks, more weeks ranked in the AP poll)
So that leaves us at the current situation: can you really say Tennessee is a better program, from the beginning of college football to the present, than Georgia or LSU at this time? I don't think so.
Legitimate national championships - LSU (4), VOLS and UGA (2)
Conference championships - LSU and VOLS (16), UGA (14)
Bowl games - UGA (57), LSU and VOLS (53)
Wins - VOLS (856), UGA (851), LSU (823)
Winning percentage - VOLS (.671), UGA (.659), LSU (.653)
SEC wins - UGA (428), LSU (418), VOLS (404)
Heisman winners - LSU and UGA (2), VOLS (0)
NFL draft picks - LSU (359), VOLS (350), UGA (346)
Weeks in AP poll - LSU (640), UGA (628), VOLS (588)
H2H record against the other two - VOLS (43-36-5), UGA (39-41-3), LSU (28-33-4)
All of this is to say Tennessee, Georgia, and LSU are probably tied for the tenth best college football program in history.
