I am very confused, he coached Ole Miss last year. How does he get credit for draft picks he never coached? I have to be missing something here. Not being an a-hole at all, just does not make sense at all to me.

Same way Drunk Pete Golding gets credit for a CFP with a team that was given to him in the CFP

I would think LSU should have kept Orgeron then, since they have not beaten Kirby since those games.

Since 2019LSU has managed records of:

5-5
6-7
10-4
10-3
9-4
with no playoff appearances.

Kirby broke LSU.

He was too busy doing blow and stalking underage girls while Pete Golding was secretly the mastermind behind Ole Miss’ season. Am I doing it right?

I have no problem with Lane Kiffin and think he was a good pickup for LSU.

That said, I think it odd that apparently some LSU fans think it is a gotcha that Ole Miss did not have any players picked in the first round, when it was Kiffin that was their coach.

What is true: Kirby Smart is 0-2 vs Ed Orgeron and was outscored 73-26.

Actually what is true, the last time Kirby and UGA played the Bayou Kittens, that same QB that you called a 'dork' on another thread, shredded your boys going 23-29 for 274 yds, and 6 total TDs (4 passing and 2 rushing) on route to hanging 50 on em in a bullwhipping.

The baws were leaving MBS at halftime.

Their team stood around watched a blocked FG be returned for a TD.

Absolutely BTFOed

And that was the peak of the BK era at LSU, but they convinced themselves that BK was a good coach because of muh 14 scholarship players.

Anyone who wins 70%+ of games at three different schools is a good coach. He just didn't adapt to NIL and the portal.

The rationale I really enjoyed was "if BK can win at ND with their high academic standards, he'll kill it at LSU where anyone with a pulse is accepted!"

He could have, if he would have adapted to the new landscape better.

Never been called a goober before. That is going on the checklist. Still does not answer how Kiffin literally did not coach LSU last year and gets credit by homers like you. Seems like Brian Kelly should be getting the credit, not Lane.
